"The Word Became Flesh 4"
Brown Paper Bag and glue. 46" x 36" x 20" on 28 " plinth. $5,000.00
John 1:14 says "The Word became flesh and dwelt among us" The only "Word" in the first century was the "Old Testament" or Tenach. You can see Torah scrolls becoming skin, muscle and sinew. It is made of brown paper and glue only, a form of sculpture I have been working in for more than 20 years. However, I feel like just lately, as I work with this process with students in public school, I have found ways to solve many problems that I was unable to before.
